Crime reporter Colin Crampton has been in Brighton only days before he stumbles on the body of a murdered antiques dealer. It’s a great story but Colin must face down the cops and rival journos if he’s to land his first scoop.

There are five suspects but the murderer won’t hesitate to kill again if Colin closes in on the truth. With his feisty Australian girlfriend Shirley, Colin works the clues. There are twists and turns, dead-ends and breakthroughs. But when the truth dawns, it comes with a threat of death.
